Praxia Update

Daily orthopaedic literature digest

Support

Made by clinicians, for clinicians — a daily update that makes keeping current part of your routine. Set up for orthopaedics, open to any PubMed journal in any specialty. Here’s how to get the most from it.

Need a hand, or have a request?

Email ebappsdevelopment@gmail.com — feature requests and journal suggestions are welcome. We usually reply within a couple of working days.

What it does

Each day, Praxia Update gathers the newly indexed articles from the journals you choose — orthopaedics and trauma by default, or any PubMed journal in any specialty — and presents them as a clean issue: tap a journal to see its table of contents, then tap an article for the full abstract and a link to the primary source. A formatted PDF of every issue is produced too.

Getting started

Choosing your journals

A set of leading journals is included by default — these are only a suggestion. Open Journals to add any PubMed‑indexed journal (search by name) or remove ones you don’t follow. Your selection is saved on your device.

Getting the digest

Open Get the digest. You have three options, none of which need a password:

FAQ

Do I need an account?

No. There’s no sign‑up and no password anywhere in the app.

A new issue hasn’t appeared yet — why?

PubMed indexing can lag publication by a day or two, so an article may show up shortly after it’s published. Praxia Update reports what PubMed has indexed.

Is this medical advice?

No. Praxia Update is a current‑awareness and alerting aid. Always consult the primary source and apply your own clinical judgement.

How do I suggest a journal or feature?

Email ebappsdevelopment@gmail.com — we read every message.
